We worked with iris Worldwide to create this great piece of branded entertainment for Johnnie Walker. The film was built within a Facebook app hosted on Johnnie Walker’s global brand page and acted as a competition entry mechanic in their ‘Drive Of A Lifetime’ prize: the chance to drive a Mclaren Formula 1 car.
The campaign features Facebook Connect technology that personalises the film – you see your name and profile picture in the film, as well as photos of your friends, before the really clever stuff… As Jenson Button hands you your helmet, the webcam on your computer engages and you can see your face reflected in the visor – a first that we’ll be incorporating into I AM PLAYR later this year. Another first is the voice simulation, which features when the pit radio comes on and you hear your name.
